JOHN LONGMIRE
As the current coach of the Sydney Swans, John Longmire has long been involved with AFL as a supporter, a player, an agent and now as head coach.
As a Player
- John is best remembered for his outstanding 1990 season with North Melbourne when, at just 19, he:
- kicked 98 goals in a season;
- kicked 14 goals in a single game; and
- was the youngest ever recipient of the Coleman Medal.
As a Coach
- John is now head coach of the Swans, John has been nothing but a tremendous success for the club.
- He led the Swans to a premiership flag in 2012.
