Zara Phillips, MBE, is the daughter of the Princess Royal and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips.
Zara is an elite standard equestrienne and former Eventing World Champion having won an individual gold (to complement a team silver) at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games in Germany. In 2006 Zara won the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year award and in 2007 Zara was conferred a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to Equestrianism.
In front of an adoring home crowd at the 2012 London Olympics, Zara claimed an Olympic silver medal in the teams three day eventing discipline.
After taking a break from the sport to start a family in 2013, Zara gave birth to her first child in 2014, with husband, former English Rugby Captain, Mike Tindall.
Through sheer hard work and determination, Zara was selected in the GB Team for the World Equestrian Games (WEG) 2014 in Normandy and went on to win a Team Silver Medal.
Zara is an official Ambassador of Australia’s premier summer racing carnival, the Magic Millions which is co-owned by Harvey Norman Retail Group owner, Katie Page-Harvey, and is to be held on the Gold Coast in January 2018. Zara supports many charitable organisations, including; various children and spinal injury charities, the Caudwell Charity Trust. Additionally, Zara supported the #bringbackourgirls campaign started by Michelle Obama.
