Shane is a match winner who often saves his best for the biggest occasions. He loves the big stage and none come bigger than an Ashes series between Australia and England. In 36 Tests against the old enemy, Warne took 195 wickets at an outstanding average of 23.25. His 195 wickets are comfortably the highest by any bowler in Ashes contests.
Shane retired from international cricket after helping Australia to a 5-0 Ashes series victory over England in 2007. He took 708 wickets in 145 Tests during a 15 year career for Australia, reaffirming himself as one of the true greats of the game.
The ‘King of Spin’ now spends his time commentating for both Channel Nine and Star. Shane captained and coached the Indian Premier League’s Rajasthan Royals for the first four years of the IPL, including to victory in the first ever IPL Twenty20 cricket tournament in 2008, and Captained the Melbourne Stars in the BBL where he was instrumental in the establishment phase on and off the field of the Melbourne Stars.

The brainchild of Shane and Sachin Tendulkar, the All Stars tour made its way through three American cities, with exhibition matches and cricket clinics involving an all-star line-up of cricketing greats such as Akram, Mcgrath and Lara to name a few.
